Ray Akers
Education: Music
studies at Michigan State University,
Bellermine College Naval School of Music
Originally from
Port Huron Michigan, Ray has been teaching
piano for the last 28 years. He has
toured with various military bands and
performed various local and national
recording artists for the last 20 years to
include Grover Washington Jr. and Abdu Salim.
Ray is also a music media specialist,
composer, and arranger, as well as, a member
of the Atlanta Federation of Musician's
Union Local 148-462.

Jean Kuehn
Education: BM,
Music Education, State University of New
York; MM, Music Education, State University
of New York, Buffalo.
Performance
Experience: Jean has taught privately for
the past 30 years after teaching in public
education for three years. She has
been a full time organist for the past 22
years, piano accompanist for Solo & Ensemble
All-State Competitions, piano soloists at
private functions throughout the Atlanta
area, as well as, pianist for several of
Atlanta's Fox Theater Productions.
Jean is a member of AMF, Gainesville Music
Club, and National Federation of Music
Clubs.

Performance
Experience: Freelance musician in Atlanta.

Devon Morgan
Education: BA,
University of Georgia in Photojournalism.
Double Minor: Piano and Flute Performance.
Devon has been
teaching private lessons for ten years and
teaches two evenings a week at Carere Music.
