Tony Carere

Music Education, Fredonia State University
Besides being the President of Carere Music,
Tony has made a living playing his
instruments for 40 years. Not only is
he one of the fines doublers anywhere
around, he is also the musical contractor
for the Fox Theater's Theater of the Stars.
He can be heard on numerous recording
commercials, such as Papa John's and Coca
Cola. As well as his playing career,
Tony served as Saxophone instructor at
Georgia State University for 15 years and
continues to teach three days a week.

Ben Davis
Education:
Studies at Georgia State University
Performance
Experience: Freelance Jazz Musician,
composer with the Emory Modern Dance Group,
performed at the Knitting Factory in NYC.
Currently Ben teaches at Greater Atlanta
Christian School, as well as, Carere Music.

Seth Kuehn
Education: BM in
Music Education, State University of New
York MM, Georgia State University; Education
Specialist, Brenau University; A wealth of
education-related workshops and seminars
Performance
Experience: Atlanta Pops, Atlanta Ballet
Orchestra, and many shows at the Fox
Theater. Seth is also a public school
teacher in Early Music Education. |

Gary Paulo
Education: BM,
Indiana University
Performance
Experience: Gary has been teaching saxophone
since 1997. He is a graduate of
Indiana University where he studied
saxophone with Eugene Rousseau. In
addition to teaching privately he also works
with the Lassiter High School Band, the
Kennesaw Mountain Band, and many other of
the fine middle school bands in Cobb County.
He is an active performer in the area
playing with many of the wonderful local
acts as well as national acts such as the
Temptations. He is also a member of
the Cobb Wind Symphony, and with them has
performed at the Mid-West Band and Orchestra
Clinic, as well as the GMEA state
conference.

Sam Skelton
Education: BM,
Jazz Performance, Georgia State University;
Masters Work, Boston University
Performance
Experience: Sam studied privately with Tony
Carere and Ken Radnofsky. Sam's
discography includes over 120 compact discs,
including London Symphony, the Gap Band, and
the Ohio Players. Sam has also
performed with the Atlanta Symphony, the
Atlanta Pops, the Peachtree Pops, the
Atlanta Ballet, and a solo performance with
the London and Cobb Symphony Orchestra.
Sam is the Director of Jazz Studies and
Lecturer of Saxophone at Kennesaw State
University. Prior to joining the
faculty at KSU, he served as Professor of
Saxophone at Georgia State University, and
Visiting Professor of Saxophone at Furman
University.
