Carere Music offers three of the top repair techs in the southeast. Our expert repair techs have many years of experience and are highly qualified to repair all woodwind and brass instruments.

Michelle studied Music Business at Indiana State University as well as apprenticing repair studies with Steve Prescott. After college she worked for 9 years at the Conservatory of Music at Terre Haute, IN. She then moved to North Carolina to work for McFadden Music.
Michelle is in the store full-time. She welcomes you to visit her Monday-Thursday from 11am-7pm and Saturday 11am-5pm.
A native of Conyers, Georgia, Sam Skelton has been active on the Atlanta music scene for well over two decades. He graduated
summa cum laude from Georgia State University and the private studio of
Tony Carere with a degree in Jazz Studies. During his course of study at GSU, Sam was a Montgomery Music Scholar and a two-time fellowship recipient to the Aspen Music Festival. He continued his saxophone studies with
Kenneth Radnofsky at Boston University in 1991. As a woodwind doubler, Skelton is well-versed in any genre of music. His grasp of saxophone, clarinet and flute has enabled him to remain very busy in live performance as well as in the studio. Sam is currently Director of Jazz Studies and Lecturer in Saxophone at Kennesaw State University.

Wil Grizzle
Wil has been repairing woodwinds for 25 years. He is one of the country's true masters of woodwind repair. He also well-known for amazing mouthpiece refacing. He repairs for such great musicians as David Sanborn and many local Atlanta musicians.
Wil takes instruments by appointment only.
